Two hundred kilometres of coastline on two seas and a wealth of historic castles and ruins make Wexford a truly romantic setting for wedding photography.

 

Johnstown Castle

 

The locations listed below while certainly not exhaustive are the more popular venues of choice by wedding couples for their wedding day photography in Wexford :

Craanford  Park 
Situated just 4kms from Gorey town, Craanford Park ,on the main Gorey to Carnew road, is an ideal location for wedding photos particularly for those couples having their reception in one of the local Gorey hotels, the Amber Springs ,Ashdown Park, Seafield or Marlfield House.The Park is very well maintained throughout the year and with it's picturesque surroundings including a well designed footbridge over water it is an ideal Summer wedding photo location,
Courtown Beach

Courtown beach siuated approx 6km from Gorey town is a very popular location for wedding photography. The beach itself has been narrowed somewhat by coastal erosion, but still provides a romantic backdrop for the wedding photos.

 Ballymoney Beach

A small beach but popular nonetheless for wedding couples, with it's fine sand and coastal rock Ballymoney beach is a favoured location, only a few km outside of Gorey town.

 Curracloe Beach

Beach Wexford

The magnificient blue flag beach in approx. 5km from Wexford town is truly an expanse of golden sand dunes and unspoilt beach. Curracloe is a firm favourite for Wexford weddings.

 Johnstown Castle

 The harmony between great Victorian revival castles and their surrounding ornamental grounds is rarely seen to such perfection as at Johnstown Castle.  Wexford Heritage Centre

With it's homesteads, places of ritual and a rich tapestry of Celtic and Viking history built on the slaney, the Heritage Centre in Wexford has become a popular venue for wedding photos. The Centre is located on the N11 ( Dublin Road) just outside Wexford town and very close to the Ferrycarrig hotel.

Vinegar Hill ( Enniscorthy) : Siutated overlooking Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, this famous historic site from the 1798 Irish Rebellion is a lovely place for Summer or winter photos and a favourite for locals for wexford weddings in the southeast.
